My name is Rachel and I am a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about working with teens, young adults and caregivers. I believe family and/or community support and engagement are a critical part of facilitating meaningful change and recovery for an individual.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, OCD and eating disorders. I have worked in a variety of settings, including residential, inpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care, as well as outpatient community health. I have advanced training in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and have experience supporting families with Family Based Treatment for eating disorders.
I value deep connection, direct communication and gentle humor in a therapeutic relationship, and I am curious and relational in my approach. I strive to create a nonjudgmental, empathetic environment where you can feel heard, validated and respected.
